Crocodile Bay – Eco Tour Report

Excursion: GoRuck and Crocodile Bay

Beau and Kerem Williams took Jason McCarthy and his wife on a 22k jungle hike adventure with 4,500 foot elevation change. The goal was a site inspection to bring Go Ruck fitness events to the Osa Peninsula and Crocodile Bay. Kerem Williams also took Jason and his wife on a Kayak expedition around the Golfo Dulce. Excursion: Bio Sur & the Rio Nuevo Nature Reserve

The BioSur Foundation team, Jim Córdoba-Alfaro and Eddier Blanco, went to explore the foundation’s own reserve: The Rio Nuevo Nature Reserve. The reserve is easily accessible from Botánika Resort and Crocodile Bay, and has a large amount of biodiversity, as it is bordering the Corcovado National Park. The ultimate highlight is being able to finish the hike by jumping into the “Rio Nuevo” (the river surrounding the reserve), which has the perfect temperature to cool off.
