Day One: Arrive at the SJO International
airport in Costa Rica’s Capital City
of San José. Our customer relations
manager will greet your
group and transport you to a first class
hotel in San Jose where you will spend your
first night. Enjoy Costa

Day
Two: Enjoy a breathtaking 45 minute
morning flight across Costa Rica’s
Talamanca Mountain Range at 10,000 feet
to the pristine South Pacific Coast. The
aerial views of Costa Rica’s rainforests,
mountains and winding rivers is a tour in
itself!
Our
drivers will meet you at the Puerto Jimenez
airstrip conveniently located 5 minutes
from Crocodile
Bay Resort. You will be greeted
at the resort with smiling faces and fresh
fruit cocktails to kick-off your multi-sport
adventure.
After
a quick check-in and lunch or breakfast
(depending on your arrival time) consisting
of local and international favorites, you’ll
be introduced to our Eco
Director Alberto Herrera (see bio and
photo), Alberto will present activities
for the day, advise on gear, and fill your
group in on the flora and fauna you will
likely encounter.
Rainforest
Zip-Line Tour Experience the thrill
of a seven platform canopy tour in a primary
rainforest. Using state-of-the-art zip-lines
you will view a primary rainforest from
the canopy level. Witness flora and fauna
from a whole new perspective!
Ocean
& Mangrove Kayaking
Take advantage of the excitement of an afternoon
paddle in our sheltered bay. A short distance
from the shore provides a commanding view
of the sunset. This is also a chance to
search for local marine life like spotted
and bottle nosed dolphins, humpback whales,
and several species of sea turtles.
Day 3: (Flex Day): To accommodate
your group, we offer you the following choices
of adventure activities on your final day!
1.)Waterfall
Rappelling
Your
guide will take you through the rainforest
up a densely forested trail, traversing
a rising stream leading to the rio Clarito
Waterfall. Utilizing state-of-the-art climbing
equipment, you will first ascend the vertical,
40 foot waterfall. After a rest and a chance
to view the scenery from above, your expert
guide will prepare you for your rappel against
a torrent of waters and the thrill of a
lifetime. Many guests want to do it again
immediately, and that's ok with us!
2)Rainforest
Trek
Enjoy the majesty of the rainforest
in a day! The tropical lowland rainforest
is the most species-rich land-based ecosystem
on Earth. From brilliantly colored birds
like the scarlet macaw and the chestnut
mandibled toucan, to rare mammals like sloths,
four species of monkeys (howlers, white-faced,
spider and squirrel), peccaries, and wild
cats, it is a land of wonder and enchantment.
If you do only one tour during your visit
to Crocodile Bay, this is the tour we recommend
to give you a sense of what the rainforest
is all about. Your senses will be heightened
as you become one with your surroundings!
3)Cross
Country Mountain Biking
See the Osa Peninsula countryside close-up
and personal on our new Trek Mountain Bikes.
The casual biker will experience the rolling
hills and flats as you meander along country
back roads past fruit tree farms, fields,
rustic casitas and rancheros. The adventurous
will be guided through jungle single-tracks
leading to commanding ocean views and numerous
opportunities to spot exotic Osa wildlife
like monkeys, sloths, toucans and scarlet
macaws.

4: Free Day- Take a bike ride through
the charming village of Puerto Jimenez,
visit our Crocodile Lagoon and butterfy
farms or relax on one of the many secluded
beaches near the Resort. This is also a
great day to take advantage of our 5,000
square foot luxury Spa! Additional tours
may also be purchased at the front desk.

5 Return to San José - Return
to your first class hotel in San José
with great photos, and the memories of a
lifetime. Crocodile Bay Resort enjoys a
47% return visit rate, so chances are you'll
be back soon!

6 International Departure - Our
drivers will escort you to the San José
International Airport (SJO) for your return
flight home. See you again next year!
