With over 350 bird species (including scarlet macaws and toucans), countless mammal species (including all four species of indigenous monkeys, sloths, jaguars, and tapirs) Costa Rica's Osa peninsula is one of the few regions in Costa Rica where one can witness a diverse array of flora and fauna in a short amount of time. All of our packages include daily FULL breakfast, à la carte lunch, and an incredible ALL YOU CAN EAT nightly dinner buffet (or à la carte) at our large open air grill! In the evenings it's time for that exciting day of fishing to pay-off with your fresh catch being served the way you like it! Our rooms are a step up from the screened in, open air fishing and jungle lodges you will find throughout the country. All rooms are spacious with AC, purified water dispenser, fishing gear rack, safe, alarm clock, observation deck, and queen sized beds. Some rooms include optional jacuzzi tub and second room. Our pool area is a great option for relaxing between your fishing and jungle adventures! Pull up a cool seat at our swim-up bar for an exotic cocktail or enjoy an evening seat in our elevated Jacuzzi for a birds eye view of scarlet macaws and other wildlife in the surrounding jungle trees. The jungle sounds are intense in the evening and provide the ultimate soundtrack for truly enjoying your vacation and forgetting the stress of everyday life. Our 5,000 square foot, newly-constructed luxury spa offers guest 6 private massage rooms, locker room and shower area, and a spacious relaxation room for enjoying a glass of wine, raw juice or mineral water while you wait. There is a photo waiting to be taken at any moment on the Crocodile Bay Grounds. You'll be astounded by the abundant flora and fauna right outside your doorstep. Resident sea almond trees provide a favorite dinner buffet for wild scarlet macaws, red lored parrots, toucans and other tropical birds. You won't have to wait long to see a basilisk (Jesus Christ Lizard) do his famous run across the water's surface, or see a dog sized Iguana darting across a grassy area. In the morning near our pier it is not uncommon to see large troops of white face monkeys picking the trees clean of fruits and howler monkeys dining on leaves or taking an afternoon nap. Our two large walk-in butterfly habitats allow you to experience over 50 varieties of Costa Rica' most amazing butterfly species! Not only is this an exciting and educational experience for guests, but Crocodile Bay also raises and releases butterfly's into the wild to keep these wonderful creatures at healthy population levels.

If you are looking for an intimate setting to host your family or group vacation, look no further. Our 2600 sq. foot private villas are close to the resort, but secluded enough to provide increased privacy. They also each have three bedrooms with private bathrooms (two queen sized beds in guest rooms, one king sized bed in the master bedroom), SKY TV, Refrigerators, Stove, Wine Cooler, Washer/Dryer, Maid Service, Deck, and AC. They are a short walk from the restaurant area and are not on site with our standard rooms and suites.
